About the League

Welcome to the Official website for the Owego Apalachin Football Club!

OAFC is a not-for-profit, parent-run Football and Cheerleading program for both girls and boys. OAFC is a member of the Southern Tier Youth Football Conference which hosts teams from Tioga, Broome, Chenango and Susquehanna (PA) counties.

Our Football program has football teams at 4 levels:
2 Flag Teams, 2 Tackle Teams.

Kindergarten Flag (PK/K)
C-Flag (1st/2nd grade)

Kids learn the fundamentals of the game of football while competing in official games both at home and at away locations.

Tackle football, with full gear (helmets, shoulder pads and padded pants provided) has 2 levels of play:

B-Team (Grades 3 & 4)
A-Team (Grades 5 & 6)

**Level determined by grade of player for the duration of the season.

We also offer cheerleading for girls ages 5-14.
Cheer levels are determined by age, and we also offer a modified level cheer team. Cheerleaders participate at all of our football games, home and away. At the end of the football season, our cheerleaders also participate in 2 or 3 cheer competitions around the region.
